Maxxis Tyres enters India; eyes 15% market share in five years

Maxxis Rubber India, a subsidiary of Maxxis Group, has inaugurated its first manufacturing facility in Sanand, Gujarat, India. Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani has inaugurated the plant. Tsai-Jen Lo, Chairman, Maxxis Group, Cheng-Yao Liao, President, Maxxis India and Jia-Ciao Liou (Gary), Spokesperson, Maxxis India were present. Maxxis is a wholly owned subsidiary of Cheng Shin Rubber Ind. Co. Ltd., the largest two-wheeler tyre manufacturer and the ninth largest tyre company in the world. Women’s Day gift from Apollo Tyres

Apollo Tyres has inaugurated a Rubber Sheet Making Unit, only for women, at Vellavoor in Kottayam, Kerala on March 8, 2018, on the occasion of International Women’s Day. Michelin Pilot Sport tyre for Formula E

Michelin has launched the new Pilot Sport tyre for the ABB FIA-Formula E championship season 5 (2018-2019) which starts in December 2018. The tyre will be unveiled at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show. Yokohama to launch two new tyres in Europe

Yokohama Rubber will launch two new tyres in Europe- the Geolandar M/T G003 and the BluEarth-4S AW21. The Geolandar M/T G003 is a Mud Terrain Tire for SUVs and Pickup Trucks. The sales of this tyre will begin from this spring. The tyres, to be introduced to specific country markets sequentially, will be available in 23 sizes, from 20-inches to 15-inches with POR (Professional Off-Road) stamped on the tires’ sides.
