Bridgestone receives certification for Boeing 737 MAX 9

Bridgestone has earned certification from Boeing for its radial tyres to be used as the main tires on the 737 MAX 9. The tyres will be released in countries around the world.

Bridgestone also produces radial tyres for the 737 MAX 8.

For 737 MAX, The Japanese tyre maker employs its Revolutionarily Reinforced Radial (RRR) structure and NanoPro-Tech material technology. The RRR structure helps to accomplish the technologically difficult feat of achieving both high durability and light weight, whereas NanoPro-Tech material technology achieves realise superior abrasion resistance.

Bridgestone will continue to expand its technology to contribute to improved fuel efficiency and greater economic benefits for aircraft operations.
