Bridgestone tops JD Power APAC’s 2016 Tyre customer satisfaction Index

Bridgestone received the highest score in customer satisfaction in a study conducted by consulting firm JD Power Asia Pacific.

Bridgestone obtained a score of 881 points (on a 1,000 point scale) in the 2016 Tyre Customer Satisfaction Index (TCSI) study which examined customer satisfaction with original tyres at 12-24 months of ownership, across four factors (listed in order of importance): appearance (876); ride (876); durability (870); and traction/ handling (872).

Bridgestone was the runner-up in last year’s survey and had scored 875 in the 2015 Tyre Customer Satisfaction Index, said the Japanse tye maker.

Customers’ perceptions of their original equipment (OE) tyre brand are an influential driver when considering replacement tyres for their vehicle, according to the J.D. Power 2016 India Original Equipment Tyre Customer Satisfaction Index (TCSI) Study.

The 2016 India Original Equipment TCSI Study is based on 3,496 responses from new-vehicle owners who purchased their vehicle between May 2013 and August 2014. The study was fielded between May and August 2015.
