JK Tyre has inherited the long tradition of social responsibility from JK Organisation. The company is committed to improve the quality of life of  communities nearby its plant locations and the society at large. In the last three decades, the company has touched thousands of lives through its CSR initiatives in the fields of Education, Healthcare, Livelihood enhancement & Environment.Road-Safety-initiative

The CSR vision of the company gets inspiration from the words of late chairman Shri Hari Shankar ji Singhania, when he said, “We at JK Organisation believe that if we want to have a successful business then we must have a successful society around us.”

Education for empowerment: Recognising the significance of education for an emerging country, JK Tyre has laid the foundation of several successful education based initiatives in major cities as well as remote villages in the last decade.

Adult Literacy Initiative

The Adult literacy Initiative is successfully running at all manufacturing locationsJ JK Tyre across the country. Over 35,000 rural women been directly impacted by the program and have become literate with our efforts. The program  has enabled them to be functionally literate in basic reading and writing skills, doing basic calculations, mobile usage, etc.

The Adult literacy centres in Central Prison, Mysore is a unique CSR initiative of its kind designed to help prisoners to become literate. Through this program around 4,000 prison inmates have become literate.

Adoption of Government ITIs


JK Tyre has adopted 4 government ITI’s to strengthen efforts of government towards skilling local youths, enhancing employability and creating employment opportunities. The business management expertise of JK Tyre has been instrumental in providing quality vocational education, state of the art infrastructural facilities, enhancing reputation and eventually almost 100 per cent employment for the students completing their courses.
