Hyundai conducted a visually dramatic presentation to demonstrate the HTRAC intelligent power distribution system, which the company developed that can control the tyres in different driving conditions. The company fitted LEDs to the tyres of its 2015 3.8L V6 Genesis and raced on a track in darkness, providing a visual treat. Hyundai has put it up on a YouTube sport called “Control the Light.” The “painted light” was aimed at showing how the power distribution system, which is invisible, works on the tyres.

Hyundai’s HTRAC intelligent all-wheel drive power management system dynamically distributes power to each wheel in order to optimise traction and safety. It is currently available exclusively on the 2015 3.8L V6 Genesis, media reported. HTRAC distributes power according to road surface traction, but also according to drive mode.
