Maxxis India expands distribution network in East India

Maxxis India appointed of its first distributor in the east India. The new distributorship, Bharat Motors Limited (BHARAT’S), located in Bhubaneshwar will reach out to dealers, auto part retailers and independent repair shops around 30 districts of Odisha.

Bing-Lin Wu, Retail Sales Head, Maxxis India, said, “At Maxxis, we believe that distributors and dealers are our brand partners in growth. Odisha being the epicentre for the East India market will play a pivotal role in our journey of expansion in India. We recently achieved a milestone of onboarding 1000 dealers across India and aim to amplify our brand presence and customer touch points further with the appointment of new distributors. This approach will help us realise our vision of becoming one of the most preferred tyre brand in India.”

Bharat’s, promoted by Om Prakash and Mr. Jay Prakash Didwania (Chairman) has a diversified dealerships business and over 35 years of experience dealing in the automobile industry. The distributor with a vast network across Odisha will help Maxxis Tyres strengthen its reach and brand portfolio in the region.

Jay Prakash, Chairman, Bharat’s, said, “We are very excited about this partnership, Maxxis Tyres’ growth trajectory in India is quite noteworthy and we want to capitalise on this growing opportunity. We already have a robust network of around 800 dealers and are aiming to on-board 50 Maxxis dealers in the region month on month. We look forward to a longstanding and a fruitful relationship with Maxxis Tyres.”

 

Maxxis India recently achieved its target of onboarding 1000 dealers by this year and has been conducting various dealers’ activities and meets in the North and West region. With the appointment of this new distributorship, the company has expanded its footprint in the Eastern region. The company has an ambitious target of expansion in other parts of East India and plans to target regions like Chhattisgarh, Bihar and West Bengal in the next phase.
