HF to display Mixing Room Solutions at DKT 2018

HF MIXING GROUP will display complete and sustainable mixing solutions at the German Rubber Conference DKT 2018 in Nuremberg from July 2-5, 2018. The worldwide leading polymer processing equipment manufacturers Harburg-
Freudenberger, Farrel and Pomini Rubber & Plastics have been working together as the HF MIXING GROUP since 2010. Together the HF MIXING GROUP provides comprehensive expertise for customized solutions for its worldwide customer base at its locations in Germany, United Kingdom, the USA, Italy and Slovakia.

In addition to state-of-the-art mixers and up- and downstream equipment, the HF Mixing Group provides with its ADVISE system a modular, scalable system for automating mixing rooms and intelligent process technology. All areas of the mixing room are included, starting with the inventory management of raw materials in the warehouse, going to the manual weighing of small chemicals, the fully automated weighing of bulk material, the control of the mixing process, downstream equipment such as open mills and single- or twin-screw discharge extruder, and all the way to the
compound storage room.
HF Mixing Group also developed intelligent controllers for energy optimisation in the mixing room such as the intelligent dust seal controller iXSeal, the temperature controller iTC and the iRam, a special controller for ram control.

Five years ago, HF added to its portfolio the universal mixer, now marketed as UMIX, and has successfully expanded its business with this step. The UMIX is based on the original Werner & Pfleiderer design and further developed by HF
to a state-of-the-art product. The machines are designed to process medium and highly viscous compounds from various sectors such as silicones, adhesives and adhesive masses and other polymer compounding solutions.
