CEAT net profit up 16.6% in Q4 FY18
CEAT Limited, an RPG Group company, has reported Rs. 16.74 billion revenue, a growth of 13.7 percent, in the fourth quarter ending on March 31, 2018, when compared to the same period last year. On a consolidated basis, the company’s Q4 FY17-18 EBITDA stood at Rs. 2.03 billion and PAT stood at Rs. 0.77 billion. On a standalone basis, the India operations reported revenue of Rs. 16.49 billion.
“Our performance across various categories such as Passenger Car Unit Vehicle, Two wheeler and Truck & Bus Radial has witnessed a significant growth in the past quarter. This is the testimony to the quality of our services and products, which further boosts our confidence to invest in capacity expansion,” said Anant Goenka, Managing Director, CEAT Limited.
On a standalone basis, the company registered a revenue growth of 13.6 percent which stood at Rs. 16.49 billion compared to corresponding quarter of the previous year. EBITDA margins for Q4 FY17-18 stood at 12.1 percent compared to 9.6 percent in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
“We continued our focus on efficient management of cash flow from operations which helped us fund our Capex from accruals; further, tight control on discretionary operational costs has helped in healthy margins,” said Kumar Subbiah, CFO of CEAT Limited.
