VIPO: Focus on winding and apexing tyre beads

VIPO a.s. has been active in research and development since 1974. The company has been complex supplier for tyre manufacturers since 1998. At the present time, the R&D, marketing sales, production, assembly, testing and project oriented activities of VIPO a.s. are mainly concentrated to devices for winding and apexing tyre beads, hot-melt, and dispersion adhesives and rubber chemistry. VIPO a.s. is the holder of the certificates for quality management system and environmental management according to the standards STN EN ISO 9001 and STN EN 14001. The Slovak Ministry of Education has repeatedly granted it the Certificate of Competence to Carry out Research and Development since 2009. VIPO a.s. is one of the European’s leading supplier of bead-winding and apexing machinery. It offers wide range of solutions for all kinds of tyres.

VIPO has developed new equipment in order to meet market requirements and supplied them to plants of its customers in recent years. Bead Apex line for OTR tyres (57” – 63”). This compact production equipment is capable to produce bead 63”/1626 mm and apex 230/83 mm.

Bead winding and apexing is highly productive, automatic and recipe driven. Handling is ergonomic, safe and effective via industrial manipulator or via robot. The weight of apexed bead can be up to 160 kg. The solution is labor and cost effective.

Bead Apex line for OGRO tyres (25” – 48”): This complex equipment is capable to produce rectangular bead up to 48”mm and apex 125/15 mm.

Both OTR and Agro production modules are controlled by sophisticated control system collecting all necessary data, HMI system, fault auto-detection, online connectivity between service centre and machine located in customer’s plant is available.

LIHEXAL 6 (13” – 24”): This complex equipment is capable to produce 6 hexagonal single wire beads simultaneously. – Set of let-off stands, extruder with head for excellent rubber coating of wires, new festoons, winding stand with manipulator and different bead storing system (carousel, fully automatic unloading (by manipulator) directly into customer’s trolleys).

The line is controlled by sophisticated control system collecting all necessary data, HMI system, fault auto-detection, online connectivity between service centre and machine located in customer’s plant is available.

LIBEPAL 6 (13” – 25”): This complex equipment is capable to produce 6 rectangular multi-wire beads simultaneously. Set of let-off stands, extruder with head for excellent rubber coating of wires, new festoon, winding stand with manipulator and different bead storing system (carousel, fully automatic unloading (by robot) directly into customer’s trolleys).

The line is controlled by sophisticated control system collecting all necessary data, HMI system, fault auto-detection, online connectivity between service centre and machine located in customer’s plant is available.
