Ford Mustang 2018: Designed to standout
Ford Mustang 2018 keeps the excitement high among fans. One thing for sure is that it will be all Mustang in every respect. Ford says there will be two engine choices – 2.3L EcoBoost and 5.0L V8 Coyote. The 2.3L EcoBoost offers up more torque this year thanks to a bump from the transient overboost function. The 5.0L V8 Coyote has a port fuel and direct injection, which translates into increased power and efficiency, the automaker says.
According to a leaked brochure that hit the media, the EcoBoost has six-speed manual transmission, air conditioning, power windows and door locks, remote keyless entry system, electronic power-assisted steering, 4.2-inch LCD screen with SYNC, LED headlights, signature lighting and rear turn signal lamps, front and rear stabilizer bars and Intelligent Access with push-button start.
There is an AdvanceTrac electronic stability control, four-wheel anti-lock brake system (ABS), power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes, illuminated entry system, and individual tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS).
The brochure says there are additional standard airbags for driver’s knee, glove-box-door-integrated knee and front-seat side. The Fastback model will have side-curtain airbags.
