Tyrexpo India 2016 opens in Delhi
Tyrexpo India 2016, organized by SingX Exhibition between June 14 and 16, started today in Delhi.
The expo, the fourth edition of the show, will focus on four segments-tyres, automotive repairs and maintenance, services and smart solutions and tyre sustainability.
During the opening the ceremony, Adrian Sng, GM, Events Business at Singex, said, according to market expert, the Indian tyre industry is expected to grow between four to eight percent in next two years due to robust growth in OEMs and replacement market. However, depleting NR stocks, capacity utilization, technology to optimize production and sustainability are main challenges.”
This is the first time the show, being held between June 14 and 16, is being organized in Delhi to cater to the growing needs of the North India tyre market.
“When we first launched Tyrexpo India in Chennai, we forecasted and recognized the growth of potential of the tyre industry in India. After tracking the successes of our three editions in Chennai, and with the city of Delhi we expected to become one of the largest tyre manufacturing centers in the world over the next decade, we felt that it si the time for us our coverage for India. Tyrexpo India 2016 in Delhi aims to fortify the local tyre market by connecting local companies across India with international ones, and creating platforms for knowledge and conversations,” said Eileen Hair, Project Director of Automotive and Commodities Cluster at Singex.
Along with the expo, Tyre Retail Congress, a new one-day conference as part of the Tyrexpo TechTalk Seminar to bring together tyre brands, retailers, distributors and auto enthusiasts to engage in discussing about the impact of the technological advancements and new disruptions in the sector.
