Fiat has brought back the iconic design of the 60s in its dashing 124 Spider, on display at the L.A Auto Show and now revving up for 2017 launch (Photo: www.fiat.com). They say it is the prefect blend of driving precision and sheer joy behind the wheel. With its longitudinal front engine and rear wheel drive mechanical lay out Fiat 124 Spider has perfect weight distribution to secure exceptional dynamic perfomance. The engine is 1.4 turbo multiair petrol with 240 nm of torque for excellent performance and fuel efficiency.

Ignis in India in 2016

Maruti Suzuki’s new crossover Ignis could hit Indian streets in 2016. The compact crossover was on display aththe 2015 Tokyo Motor Show. Ignis comes under the micro SUV category (Photo courtesy: i.ytimg.com). It has a large single-slat grille with integrated projector head-lamps and chrome surround, and flared wheel-arches. The Ignis is 3679mm long, 1579mm high and 1478mm wide.

 Two more new VW Beetles

Volkswagen has announced new variants for its iconic Beetle in 2016. The 2016 Beetle Denim will have a short run of 2,000 limited edition units. The convertible top will be covered in a dark blue denim like material. The rest of the car, including the interior will sport lots of denim-inspired designs. Both new Volkswagen Beetle models will be equipped with a 1.8 liter direct-injection, turbocharged TSI 4-cylinder engine, 170 hp and 184-pound feet of torque.

 

Ford Focus RS: Revving up for roads

The new 2016 Ford Focus RS was on show at Los Angeles. The all-wheel-drive hot hatch is driven by a sport 350 horsepower and 350 pound-feet of torque. The engine is 2.3 liter EcoBoost four-cylinder, similar to that of the Mustang. Acura NSX 2016, for real

Honda is now set to reveal its new Acura NSX in 2016 – a hybrid spin-off from its super car of 1990s (Photo courtesy: www.motortrend.com). The 2016 NSX will feature a mid-mounted V6, and boosted by two turbos and two electric motors, one powering the front wheels. The NSX hybrid system is claimed to be right up to the high mark.
