BKT showcasing innovative and speciality tyres at Intermat
World’s leading off-highway tyre major BKT group is displaying varies series of tyres at Intermat 2015, an International Exhibition for Equipment and Techniques for Construction and Materials Industries, being held in Paris, between April 20-25.
The Indian tyre companies is showcasing tyres of of the Airomax AM 27, Container King and Maglift series and Earthmax SR 47, Earthmax SR 51 and Earthmax SR 53 tyres as preview.
AiromaxAM 27,on display in size 445/95 R 25, is a specialty tyre for high-speed, on-off road cranes that feels at home both on road/highway surfaces and rugged construction sites. Container King offers excellent stability for container handling vehicles. It is showcased in size 18.00-25.Magliftis the ultimate response to all those seeking stability and safety in demanding for klifting operations. The tyre is displayed in size 7.00-12 (5.00), said BKT.
The highlights of the innovation theme are the latest members of the Earthmax tyre family, a line up featuring All Steel casings with non-directional rigid blocks to ensure a perfect load distribution on the ground. The Earthmax SR 47, size 24.00 R35 now available, is designed for rigid dump trucks that transport loads over the hardest earth surfaces, including rock quarries. The deep, class E-4 tread pattern, featuring a particular lug design, improves traction and provides a longer tire life-cycle, ultimately reducing downtime. Yet, if things get tough… there is Earthmax SR 47and its cut-resistant compound created specifically to with stand cracks and punctures.
For loaders that operate in quarries and mines, Earthmax SR 51is showcased at Intermat in size 20.5 R 25. This non-directional tire demonstrates excellent forward and backward performance and is ideal for digging and loading. The latest newcomer to the series is slated to have a long life expectancy thanks to its squared shoulder design and the class L-5special tread compound, which expels stones laterally significantly reducing the risk of puncture.
The third fellow, displayed in size 17.5 R25, is Earthmax SR 53, class L-5, has been engineered for the same type of vehicles as the Earthmax SR 51, but also lends itself to operations on mining and rock quarries with particularly rocky land surfaces. The tire is made of an extraordinarily cut-and-heat-resistant compound, while the self-cleaning tread expels rocks and other foreign matters. These two special features stand for both a long product life-cycleand great productivity.
